Why does Atova focus on internet marketing?

Atova focuses on internet marketing because it gets results. Evidence the pie chart below which represents where consumers first saw the home that they actually purchased.

The green section of the chart reveals that a full 36% of home buyers reported that they first saw the home that they purchased on the internet.

In contrast to this, note the red section of the chart representing traditional newspaper media. A meager 2% of home buyers reported having first seen the home that they purchased in a newspaper.

Why is this so? Because window shoppers use newspapers for fun. Real buyers use the internet. Home buyers know that newspapers contain only partial information and that the information is several days old due to the delay between ad deadlines and printing. On the other hand, home buyers know that the internet contains all the information and that the information is fresh and up to date.

Of further interest, the NAR found that approximately 20% of home buyers that purchased through an agent found their agent online. Therefore an additional 8% of home buyers (20% x 40%) were first introduced to the home that they purchased by an agent that they found online.

Therefore, in all, the internet is a critical point of sale in over 44% of home sales. Atova focuses on internet marketing because the internet is, without exception, the most effective way to sell real estate.
